I mean, at a certain point, the opposite seems to add up to "But you'll like this fish..."

I heard a very painful piece of audio the other day. Elon Musk was bumbling his way through a bad joke. The point here isn't the joke. I wanted to know if my assessment was right.

Basically, the joke has two economists challenging each other to eat a pile of for $100. After the challenge one realized that they both won the $100, so they cancelled each other out. The "punchline" is that they added $200 to the economy.

My reaction was that zero dollars were added to the economy. The $200 was already there. It never left. Perhaps that's the joke? They think they're adding to the economy?

Musk has not ever, nor ever will, think that deeply.

I can tell you how we do it. But not on the open internet, they're listening.
