It's a feature of the hard-block. Someone blocks you, you can't see the threads they've started, you can't see your posts there, or the conversations you might have been having--or even watching--there.

In this case I know for certain it is not the thread starter -- it is that the thread became News and since the boss isn't a fan...

In theory they don't have to. This happened once before, and persisted for a few weeks (maybe months, I can't quite recall) before Xenforo eventually fixed it.

It does seem to be taking longer this time, though.
