Red 2024 Mazda CX-30 GS. I knew the guts of it, from research, but the test drive today sealed the deal.

We bought a (lightly used) 2019 CX-9 a few years ago after not looking at Mazdas since the Millennium first hit their American dealerships.

They’re in the upper echelons of autos I’d buy.

Re: handedness

I primarily operate as a rightie, and don’t do anything predominately left-handed.

But I’m actually ambidextrous. I have an annoying (unconscious) habit of switching handedness several times as I eat. This only matters when dining next to someone, though.

I’ve even done things like bowl, draw, shoot pool and other things as a lefty.

Re: handedness

I primarily operate as a rightie, and don’t do anything predominately left-handed.

But I’m actually ambidextrous. I have an annoying (unconscious) habit of switching handedness several times as I eat. This only matters when dining next to someone, though.

I can only really shoot a bow left. My grade 12 gym teacher tried to force me to shoot right, because they only had right-handed bows. There was a time when I could shoot a rifle either way, but I eventually lost the left. In street hockey I had a good right slap shot, but a really mean left wrist shot. Really screwed with people when I would swap sides. I can only write right-handed. Badly. Really badly. Seriously, I could be a doctor. She should have left me alone, in 1st grade.

I haz new car in a week.

My wife's car is in the shop. It has been in the shop for three weeks. Why? Because Toyota cannot get a battery from California to Massachusetts in any less time than that.

Luckily, that disappointment was more than matched by the joy I had when I learned that "passing the bar" didn't mean I was just going to walk by a bar without drinking.

Fun fact- attorneys will tell you that they are forced to pass a bar, but they will never pass up a stiff drink.

Well, to pass a bar, they must first swallow a bar. And that is why they have a stick up their... nevermind.

I gather there are lots of actual people in the world who aren't great at quickly adding up several numbers (even small ones) quickly in their heads. I wonder how many give up way before doing 20 sets of them...
