The worst joke he's ever heard?! What does it say about my life that this joke doesn't even make it into the top 20 worst?

It’s just a marketing jargon for saying palette. But it often gets used to describe things that are monochromatic or duo-tone, which is really abusing the term. So I somewhat agree.

I can believe that the guy in front is a James, but the guy in back is at best a Felix.“Who are you two?”
“Bards. James’ Bards, double 07s.”
THANK YOU!
That was the word I was trying to remember.
He played on the Queen Mary a number of years ago. I thought it would have been great if he had come out on stage and said, "I like big boats and I cannot lie!"I like big butts and I cannot lie…I’m not a fan of big buts, though.
Speaking of colors and names, I really appreciate how The Army Painter has started to include "objective" color names on their newer paints (the Speed Paints 2.0 line and the Warpaints Fanatic line). So while the main name on the label is still going to be something like "Night Sky", "Burning Ore", or "Talisman Teal", they also have smaller print saying "Black Bluish Grey", "Vivid Reddish Orange" or "Vivid Bluish Green".Yarn, especially hand-dyed yard, frequently has a number of colors evident in it, and expressing that as a colorway with a name (such as the one my wife used for a scarf she knitted for me, "Bourbon Barrel") is likely to be more succinct and clearer to the end-user than "brown and tan and black with specks of blue." So, no, it's not a stupid word, nor is it a stupid concept.

If I've learned one thing from spending years on hobby-centric forums, it's that there's a whole heap of people in any hobby... Who spend too much time complaining online about their hobbies on hobby-centric forums.I wonder if knitter forums have a snarky thread where they complain about RPG jargon. They're probably too busy actually enjoying their hobby to care about RPG jargon.
The circle is now complete.
