Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Cable, streaming, and online much of the day as I generally work from home. I have never heard this term before today (but it will NOT go in the TIL thread).
Honestly, if my wife didn't do yarn crafts, I wouldn't know the term--and if I hadn't seen the differences in different colorways clearly dyed with the same (or very similar) pigments, I'd be skeptical, too.

Knitters complain about knitter jargon.
My wife's a knitter. It's her main hobby. She complains about stupid patterns and stupid explanations in patterns more than the jargon. "Why the hell would you tell me to do it that way? This way is so much easier!"
They also argue about politics and religion. Sometimes more than they talk about knitting. It's a good thing that we aren't supposed to, here.
The weirdest one she told me about so far was a woman posted a kind of Glamour Shots boudoir picture of herself wearing a sweater the knitted. Apparently the whole site was up in arms about the weirdness of posting such a picture.

Similar energy:

If you see someone crying, ask them if it's because of their haircut.

Well, when I see someone crying, it's usually one of three things-

1. Opposing counsel. My response?
Come at the king, better not miss.

2. My client. My response?
I see you got the bill.

3. Random children. My response?
I thought you knew Santa wasn't real. Look, I'm sorry I said that I hate children. I love children... properly cooked.

Oh, definitely that as well. That's both an online and IRL complaint that I frequently heard. Also, "There are whole steps left out of this pattern!" and, "This is gibberish!"

Your wife and my late mother might have been on some of the same forums. I clearly remember her shouting "WTF!!!!" about a picture that sounds remarkably like that. Ask her if she's ever head of "Nanny's Knits."

I don't remember the name of the site, but I know that wasn't it.
