Our hoverboards have also been a major disappointment.

But we did get a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, a pill that cures ulcers, and a lot of good vaccines. So that's something.

Yes. Basically, they promised what amounts to a revolution in energy tech, and we got it in information tech instead.
