Not for me, that artificial stuff gives me the creeps. Though I was a former smoker so the scent is pleasant still, but not in the winter.

I remember the days of choking on constant clouds of smoke in the back of the station wagon, on the way to the rental cottage in summer, with no AC in the car. Two parents who chain smoked. The smell has always turned my stomach, even though I didn't really notice it lingering on me when I left the house. I hated paying (socially) for the vice of others.
Oh god, menthol.
Okay, this is totally a me thing but I’ll take the cigar smoke. Can’t explain it but they smell good to me. They smell distinctive but not unpleasant IMO.
Maybe this is one of those things where people think cilantro tastes like soap?

My mother smoked cigs and my father weed, but thankfully neither made us kids sit in the car with them. Though, im sure it contributed to my own vices.
I had several “grand” relatives who smoked, enough that I frequently got to tag along when they went to the grocery store for their preferred smokes.* I absolutely loved going down the tobacco aisle- it was one of the best smelling areas in the stores.
Of course, that smell was only good until the products got lit. Once the smoking began, the smells were horrible.
* unless they were available from one of the vending machines, of course.
