Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Your continued insistence on a certain position is making me concerned about your overall view of the world.

General note- when someone quotes Anatole France saying that, "The law, in its majestic equality, forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal their bread{,}" that isn't actually a good foundation to complain about how rich people aren't allowed to beg.
The sarcasm in that quotation isn't even subtle.

I wonder if one of the biggest signs that my groups were different is that we never thought of using 3.5 or PF1e to power game. We just thought it was great to be able to get really close to our character concepts...
That is why 3e will always be my favorite edition. I could make virtually any character concept I could imagine in great detail, rather than have to kludge something that doesn't really fit like I have to do with 5e.
