Seating of the McRib

McDonald's announced the McRib will be back December 3rd. And if you think it's gross, brace yourself . . . because it's now chuggable. (???)

To celebrate the return, they're selling McRib sauce by the GALLON. Or technically, the half-gallon.

Starting Monday at 10:00 A.M. Eastern, you'll be able to buy half-gallon jugs of it at A Whole Lotta McRib Sauce . Each jug costs $20.

The site isn't live yet, but there's a button that lets you add it to your Google calendar so you won't forget. We're guessing they'll sell out pretty quick.

The press release says "McRib [season] is a holiday unto itself." So they "wanted to embrace that spirit and give fans an even bigger way to enjoy.

As a general observation now, over 4+ individual threads, several days, and many different posters.

You clearly are not looking for an answer, and an understanding. It could not be any more obvious. Its not even about being 'right' in some cases.

Take it from one who knows (and you all wont) the only satisfaction you are looking for, is a cheap one. Its empty carbs. Its low grade sugar and it doesnt even taste good does it. Its a hollow dopamine hit, and it wont work in the end.

You'll be back tomorrow, if you even leave outside of sleeping, and you'll be looking for the next minor point to be a pedant over.

I'd like to believe most of you are smarter than this, but if thats the case, whos the idiot? The ones continuing, or the one expecting better?

The McRib has its grubby appeal, but the people making a national holiday out of its return each year -- I have a bunch of them in my extended social circles -- should try the Jack Daniels barbecue in their grocer's refrigerator aisle, which is available all year long and extremely legit.

(Some poor souls, like me, aren't allowed to use smokers to cook their own meat where they live.)
