Im pretty open, but draw a hard line at cheugy.I don't consider myself a "home inspector." I'm more of a "home judger" -- you better believe I am judging your taste in homes!

As a GC, I always tell people to watch the money pit. lolIt's a cold and rainy night and my insomnia is in full swing, so I decided to make myself a hot toddy. I was halfway through assembling it in my favorite mug when I noticed that we were out of honey. Undeterred, I substituted a few tablespoons of sweet mead for that spoonful of honey and let me tell ya: I don't think I can go back.
Thanks everyone, for your advice on home ownership. It's looking more and more likely--we were approved for the loan today.
It would seem so. I live in the SW metro.Okay, first point -- does everyone on this board living in the US also somehow live here in greyduck/hotdish-land?
This one was huge for us when we decided to buy our current home. There's a Target less than 2 miles from our house that I can get to and be home in less than 10 minutes if we're cooking and realize we ran out of something. The 24 hour pharmacy we use is a couple blocks further away. There's at least a half dozen restaurants we enjoy in the area. Aside from the preferences in the actual house itself, the community around us is ultimately what sold us on it.
- It is really convenient to have pharmacies and grocery stores either in walking distance from your home, or right on your commute (if you have one).
I was just a bit thrown by your reference to converting Matchbox cars for use with it,
Can the STLs for 3D print be easily found? (I havent looked yet.)Oh no - I was building and modifying 1/24th scale plastic car models from companies like Revell and Monogram, and mounting guns on them from models of helicopters, fighter planes, tanks and smaller-scale naval vessels...
Of course, this was back in the day when those models were like $5 each, and you could also find plenty of them at yard/garage/tag sales to scrounge for parts.

I still spend most of every video call checking out what I can see of everyone else's homes.I don't consider myself a "home inspector." I'm more of a "home judger" -- you better believe I am judging your taste in homes!
