Hey, I own some of those. Somewhere I still have the Personal Soundtrack t-shirt. I always intended to wear it to a convention, with the sound box loaded up with ambient sound effects for whatever game I was scheduled to run; the ONE TIME I managed to remember to do that, that game was cancelled...

I will admit, as a Patreon patron for the Griffon's Saddlebag since he started, I'm very tempted by the Griffon's Saddlebag and Coinpouch items on the Hit Point Press website. But I need these things to be usable and to be able to stand up to the punishment of a four-day gaming convention! I mean, the Saddlebag item is only 13" in diameter! That can't hold a full day's books and snacks!

I have played Hero System since 1984, and while it's gone through editions, it was basically completely interchangeable until the very latest edition (6th), which came out in 2009. So that was 25 years of play. 5th edition is a fine system, and I expect to get a good 25 years of play out of it as well.

Heck, I'd argue that 6e is mostly interchangeable, and I started about the same time you did. There's probably one important thing in it that actually changes play rather than character gen.
