So, I'm pretty much 99% sure that this work I'm doing is grossly inefficient, and the process could be improved dramatically, but its too complicated and we do not have the bandwidth to actually look at it logically.

We had a DM way back when that insisted everything in the world had to be determined by a random die roll fleshed out by his brilliant creative improvisation. :rolleyes:
The adventure was a total non-starter, and after about fifteen minutes the party just looked at each other and checked out en masse - Several party members walked out into the forest and started cutting down trees to build a boat to sail off to a different continent. My monk locked himself into their room at the inn and went on a hunger strike, starving to death, and the paladin announced he was going to devote the rest of his life to trying to drink himself to death. :p


Kind of like car insurance where the vehicle isn't covered for damages by civil war, or acts of God.

Some day I'm going to call up my insurance company and ask them in all seriousness if that clause involves acts of any God, or just the Christian one... And, now that I think about it, do they consider the Great Old Ones to be Gods?
