Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

There are so many Kickstarter and DriveThruRPG products I just hit page back on when I see the AI art. You can make it work with royalty free art, if you can't afford to pay an artist, and everyone but you knows it.
Poser, some addons in Clip Studio Paint, and similar software have been a thing for ages. One can even import free models into Blender and compose a passable scene (with cell shading). But apparently, even that is a huge ability ceiling that justifies using art-stealing bots.

Think this is my last iteration of the holster pattern, unless I get really annoyed at the screw-ups in the pattern stamping on the back. Because it ended up being 6 layers of leather to get through with the rivets on the side I had to learn how to use traditional rivets and burrs, which is what those fakes on the pockets of your jeans are pretending to be.

The best part is when there's construction going on, and you're required to merge into a single lane. Connecticut's license plates say, "The Constitution State", but the local joke is that they misspelled "The Construction State"...
Certain kinds of road and utility work can only be done when it's going to be dry for several days in a row. So for three months out of the year, every construction project in every city of the state tries to do a whole years' worth of construction all at once. The joke in my part of the world:

"Oregon has all four seasons: Almost Raining, Raining, Still Raining, and Road Construction."

Do you have "Closed for Construction That is Never Actually Taking Place"?

Kinda. Remember a few years ago, when people figured out how to change the flashing text messages on those traffic control signs? I used to have a photo of one where someone* had changed the message to read "LEFT LANE CLOSED / FOR NO APPARENT REASON / NEXT TEN MILES."

*it wasn't me, I promise.

The classic four new England seasons are (said in thick back-country accent): "Fall, Wintah, Black Fly... and Construction."

Sometimes you can drop back instead, but I've even had people I swear were hostile to that too (at the very least it sure seemed like they were intent on parallelling me no matter what).
Confession time:

On a road trip in my 20s, I was sorta that guy…for one driver in particular.

We were the lead car in a column of 8-9, all speeding in the passing lane on the interstate. Because I don’t own a radar detector, I’ll slow down when lines of sight favored speed traps and when traffic got more congested.Well after a while, the jeep at the tail end had had enough, and decided to pass all the cars ahead of him in one go, using the slow lane.

But he timed his first run poorly, and wound up right next to me as I slowed to navigate some heavier traffic. By the time our column passed the slower traffic, he was end of the queue again. He tried a second time; same results.

On his third attempt, I deliberately tried to engineer a similar result, and succeeded.

In his 4th attempt, he started getting frustrated. I could see him slamming on his steering wheel. Better still, the people behind me were visibly cracking up.

This happened several times over the next half hour of driving time, only ending when we reached the outskirts of San Antonio and the the freeway opened more lanes.

Was I wrong? Unsafe? Absolutely. And I never did it again.

OTOH, it probably never would have happened had he been more polite and just passed 1-2 cars at a time instead of attempting 8-9 all at once.

No joke, there’s a field a little west of me with a sign for a development that is “COMING IN 2016!”.

And to my southeast, there’s an overgrown field with a 30’ tall square brick tower on its northwestern corner with some kind of business park style name in its stonework. It gives off a very “Ozymandias” vibe.
