This never occured to me until I was in a combat that involved an Elephant Figurine... trample.
A first level Astral Construct only has about 5 hit points, no reach, no real BAB to speak of. Especially at higher levels it won't be able to survive a lengthy combat.
But even at high levels, it can be a cheap magic missile because it gets one ability from menu A.
"Trample (Ex): As a standard action during its turn each round, the construct can literally run over an opponent at least one size smaller than itself. It merely has to move over the opponent to deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d4 + Strength modifier."
This only works against tiny creatures. An Astral Construct IV and above can use it against PC races every round. Guaranteed hit. Sweet.
Am I the only one who thinks this is useful?
