Part of the problem is that the US MPAA has gotten ludicrously sensitive about gore and profanity. Stuff that would have been G in the 90s gets PG now. Back to the Future would be PG 13 today. It's shifted the overton window of cussing IMO.
If it were a CR 30 (or close) like the tarrasque, it would be amusing to throw them against each other just to watch the chaos ensue. From a safe distance. A very distant, safe distance.
Even at its listed strength, the blob could probably still do some significant damage against the tarrasque.
