Growing old isn't an option. Growing up is.
The worst adults are those who have outgrown their imaginations.
I absolutely love it. It makes total sense. My dad has lost his imagination and is only open to the things he already knows and likes. My mom, albeit set in her ways, likes trying new things. Imagination is the key to unlocking what drives us. Imagination helps us expand our boundaries. If we don't try new things we become boring and predictable. I for sure will not be one of those people. Thanks, Krinke. You brought a smile to my day with your sig, I'll carry it in my heart from now until eternity.

I agree 110%. I'm trying to foster imagination in my son. I've found it helps out in all aspects of life, not just in RPGs. I'm one of those "try to see the forest for the trees" type of guys. I credit my imagination for helping me do that, because I can imagine what the big picture looks like, rather than just staying narrowly focused on one topic. :D

Thankies! I think all of us on Enworld have never grown up nor have lost our imagination, which is a good thing indeed. By not letting go of our childhood dreams and stories, we can pass those dreams and stories on to our children, who can use them to fuel their own imaginations. :)

I still enjoy reading The Wizard of Oz Cronicles, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass for instance.
