Relics and Rituals 2!!! I GOT IT!!! (More)

Man, and here I was thinking I could conserve some money, not worry about R&R II. Thanks, Nightfall!! [/end sarcasm]

Sounds very, very good. I really want to read the Astrology & Alchemy section now...

So, how does the Astrology section compare to the Astrology in Occult Lore? And the Alchemy, how does it compare to the Herbalism and Alchemy?

:) You're quite welcome Ruined. The Astrology section I think is probably the strongest part, if not at least a little confusing! That is unless you KNOW the months by heart (which I admit I STILL don't!) and also understand which benefits you can get with Star Lucky. (Which is also a free feat for High Astrologer) That said I like it and certainly gives the Scarred Lands a great little feature besides the Gods and Titans.

Xarlen/Crothy, Coldweave is a product in Hollowfaust. Since it's near a desert, it protects against heat, also aids in arcane checks I believe while wearing armor. (Have to check that last bit but I'm pretty sure the protection from heat/resistance to heat is right)

Crothy, I don't have either books, but I imagine since both were trying to make those things CORE class types, (at least Astrology) it's probably not as good but certainly not too shabby since if you take Star Lucky, you can get some interesting benefits IF your sign is in the sky. The Alchemy section is short so it probably won't be as good.

Again with the nekkid spellcaster ladies.

I swear, the only real beef I had with R&R1 was the part about magic creating body heat. I'd note that every picture of the female spellcasters made with the body showing, but all the male casters were covered up.

Suspicious. ;)

When I first read that rule in R&R I just took it as a joke, a way to explain nekkid lady pics. :-)

But last week I started a Scarred Lands campaign, and the mage was taking off his outer clothing to cast a spell (when he had time to do it - I forgot about it when he cast in combat).

Anyway, it was fun.

Also in SLCS:G it is mentione that the women of Albadia usually onw wear a cloak, often with their breasts uncovered.

Duncan

This is true Duncan. But thankfully most druids and clerics keep their clothes ON! At least if they don't follow Gubalen and/or Idra! ;)

Yeah well the wood elves are kind of the same way! ;)

Course you have to be human, half elf or half orc to qualify for the Helliann Pr-class (Though who wants to see a naked female half orc is beyond me! ;) )
