Remember Weapon Speeds?

Blunt is true.
Reach is great too, but a simple modifier for weapon size would still help. Larger weapons do alot more damage. There is your reach.

Do you want to go back to the bad-ol-days when everyone carried longswords, because it was far and away the best weapon for most every circumstance?

As it stands, longswords, greatswords, battle axes and greataxes are balanced against each other. The large weapons don't allow shields, but they do more damage. Swords get criticals more often, but axes do more damage on a critical.

If you make the longsword better than all of the rest, then who will carry a greataxe?
