D&D (2024) REVISED Form-Fillable 2024 Character Sheet

There is one thing super frustrating me with WotCs version though and that's that it's set to scroll not shrink, I'm typing mine up so I can print them for some new players without them having to read my horrible handwriting, but I can't fit as much notes as I'd like in the attack and spell notes 😭

So if you ever share your version I'd still be very interested!
A couple more issues with the official WotC versions that I noticed:

1) the field where you put your spellcasting ability (above where you enter the actual numbers) is not form-fillable.

2) the fields at the top of the spellcasting sheet for your “total” spell slots are also not form-fillable.

Because the form I have just downloaded you can edit those fields...

However, the fields don't tab in order and don't have appropriate field names! Jeez, they did a half-ass job if you ask me. It isn't THAT hard to make a good form-fillable character sheet.

Their sheet is editable, @laterbot, so I'll probably take some time this weekend to clean theirs up and post it here. I'll make the text fields shrinking and also scrolling,

Huh, you're right. I wonder where I got the version that I downloaded to my computer from 🤷 Unless they updated it after I downloaded it.

EDIT: I figured it out. I never downloaded the new form-fillable sheets precisely because they didn't shrink the text to fit the box. I think I still have the ones that @Horwath made a while back.

I've attached the WotC default sheet with shrinking fields instead of scrolling. Please try it out and let me know if you have issues with any of the fields.

To be clear, the TAB ORDER is still messed up. I am not going to re-order their tabs right now, it is an annoying amount of work.

Also, in case you missed this in another thread, these are my FINAL versions (several variants):

I'm even using these now for my 2014 games. There are both scrolling and shrinking versions.

Although I fully realize I'm pretty late with this note (and you might not even be following this thread anymore), but:

When I look at the 'tools' section of the WotC default sheet with shrinking fields you made (on the bottom left corner of the first page), it appears there is enough room for 2 rows/lines of text. However, when I start typing in that box, only the first row/line is used (and the text does not flow down to the second row/line).

If at all possible, could you find the time and resources to still change that ? If not, that's perfectly ok too, of course.

If you could supply a screen shot of the text field you're talking about, I'll see what I can do maybe this weekend. My trial period for Acrobat ended, but usually it lets me "re-trial" after a little while.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I am talking about the field in the lowermost left corner of the first page of the sheet, which I encircled with red in the supplied screenshot.
