Seeing the man facing him flee, Fin gives chase, thankful for his boots, which allow his short legs to propel him the same speed as a normal human. He will attempt to strike the fleeing enemy with the butt of his rapier, hoping to knock him unconscious, but the awkward angle of the attack thwarts Fin's efforts. Still he is hot on the man's heels.

"Bah! You aren't gettin' away that easy boy!" Fin yells as he tries again to knock the fleeing enemy out.

Sorry for the delay Scotley, I didn't realize I hadn't acted.

Logan Lightbringer, Priest of Pelor

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh .... Pelor's Pusilanimous Pity!! I feel Positively Putrid! I can barely Perambulate!" Logan will cast Restoration upon himself, hoping to totally get rid of the ability damage that he has suffered.

Initiative Order
Tagret 26 (ac23)
Fin 24 (ac22)
Logan 13 (ac28)
Harrison 13 (24)
Zorn 11 (ac16)
Garagos 6 (ac29)
Attackers 6 (ac16 or 17 except for Middlebrook who is ac 21 or 13 touch)
Jason 1 (ac24)

Jason will continue to pursue his man until he sees/hears Fin or Garagos chasing off somewhere into the dark.
By Pelor's grace don't get separated!
He is hot on the heels of the man at arms who is running toward the swamp.

Tagret?

"Bah! You aren't gettin' away that easy boy!" Fin yells as he tries again to knock the fleeing enemy out. His blow catches the fleeing man squarely on the back of the head, but the fellow refuses to fall.

Logan calls upon the power of his deity and feels the healing power restore him.

"harumph." grunts the fighter, " too dark for my eyes. i wonder if i can find a guard." he then walks to the front door, only to be grreeted by a mas of web and one live captive.

"oh the tangled skien we weave..." "Sweet dreems punk..."

*Klonk!* Harrison knocks out the man trapped in the webs at the front door.

Zorn, seeing the man at arms running out the back door, will attempt to stop him. He casts a quick spell. Then he yells to the fleeing man: Freeze The icy missile goes close enough to scribe a trail of rime on the man's shoulder, but fails to hit him. The man only runs faster after the magical attack.

Garagos doesn't stop, even as he sees the armed men. He trusts his dwarven plate and towershield to protect him from harm. "He flees to the swamp!" he calls, wondering slightly why he doesn't hear his own voice.

The two Crossbow armed men fire (1d20+12=27, 1d20+12=21), but as the dwarf expects there skills are no match for his armor. Neither bolt is able to mark him. Middlebrook leaps onto the little boat causing it to push away from the bank and out into the water. The crossbowmen abandon their weapons and take up poles start moving the boat deeper into the swamp. A web springs into existance between Garagos and the boat at the edge of the swamp strung between trees. The two remaining men at arms, one persued by Jason and one by Fin begin to shout as they realize their leader is abandoning them.

OOC: Spot check for Garagos please. Actions?

Logan Lightbringer

Logan shakes his head, causing his mane of dark blonde hair to fly about as he casts Flame Strike on the boat and those within it. Logan says, "I call down the Mighty Wrath of Pelor to consume you all!"

Reflex save for half damage, DC=20. [sblock=Flame Strike Damage] 9d6 = 35 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1605249/ [/sblock]

Lucien Montrose

It had been a long and tiring journey for Lucien, but the gates of Saltmarsh were finally before him. He knew he was late for the reading of old Ambrose's will, but there had been no help for the matter. The small group of raiders that had attacked the small freehold on the southeast edge of the Dreadwood would not trouble any more souls. He had been lucky to not be seriously injured, but the five men had not been expecting a Pegasus of the March, just an old crippled man and the daughter who had remained to care for him after his wife and her mother had died. Those damned souls did not weigh at all on his conscience. But doing what healing he could for the old farmer, and calming the daughter, had added a day to his travels. And he couldn't have left the bodies of the brigands where they had fallen, fouling the hold and possibly attracted creatures from out of the 'Wood to terrorize the shaken family. While they might not have deserved the service he had given, he thought it best to ensure that their shades never came back to haunt this plane.

He had to provide proof to be admitted through the city gates after dark, but the reputation of the Knights of the March helped to calm the fears of the guards. Getting directions from the watch officer to the Lizard's Boat, he walked Trelayne though the quieting streets. He was getting close to his objective, when a sound like a thunderclap reached his ears, in a night without a cloud in the sky. As an old campaigner, he recognizes it as the sound of a thunderstone, coming from what should be the Inn. He draws his sword, and urges Trelayne forward at a canter.
