OOC: Don't sweat it too much, Arkhandus. If you read back over the posts, I think you'll see that Scotley was entirely justified in the outcome that we suffered. Just for the record, my own, personal impression is that we were all in the passageway like a big cluster of dumb-butts when the trap was sprung, too. Not to worry about Grackle THIS time! Logan can, assuming that we can get a ruling from Scotley that
Raise Dead is, in fact, considered a healing spell (duhh), Logan can spontaneously cast it and bring Grackle back to us. At this rate, however, Logan ain't going to be able to keep on doing that too many more times, and, even worse, he's liable to be one of the dead ones one of these times real dang soon! He just lucked out this time.
OOC: Are you telling me that all, or most, of you other players have never been through the Tomb of Horrors before? Sheeesh! I am OLLLLLLLLD!!!! (Which is good for Scotley because It's been so many years since I went through this module that I can't remember any specifics about it. Like, for example, I had no idea this ceiling was gonna collapse on us. But, in all fairness, even if I did know, it would have been totally improper meta-gaming for me to have Logan benefit from that knowledge.)
I trust that Scotley will forgive me for this one word of warning about the Tomb of Horrors: ANYTIME, and I mean ANY TIME, that characters touch, open, move, or otherwise mess with any wall, door, chest, object, or architectural feature of this dungeon, there are likely to be dire consequences for all concerned unless a THOROUGH scan of said object has been sucessfully done immediately prior to said interaction. Forgive me now, Scotty??

(If you'd prefer, I'll edit and remove this warning.)
