Shoe of EGM fame said he spent more then twenty hours on it, so even though some of that was replaying bits to get everything it still doesn't sound really short. It's something I'm interested in as well.
I'm playing SC2, just three more things to unlock in the collection and about half the joke weapons to go. Torment when ever I get back to it, why do I keep stopping? Everything else is probably on hold for now.
I just rented Soul Calibur 2 at my local Blockbuster, and it's the best fighting game I've played in the last few years. Looks like I'll be busy over the next five days.
This is one great racer. It is very difficult though, but that is what I like. If you lack patience then just rent it so you can get a feel for it. If you must unlock everything then get ready for the long haul.
The story mode is so ungodly difficult. I am currently stuck on chapter 6 and the only chapter I've beaten on a harder difficulty was easy chapter 2.
The races are no slouch either. Novice mode is just that, but the expert mode is really expert. Unless you can take full advantage of the track and be aggressive in taking out your rivals, you will never win. I can't wait until I unlock master mode.
Making your own custom cars is a neat feature too.
I just wish there was more emblems to unlock.
Still playing Neverwinter Nights/Shadows of Undrentide three times a week with regular groups. Most of my in-between time is spent on Battlefield 1942's mod Desert Combat, but I'll probably switch back to WW2 once I get my hands on the Secret Weapons expansion this weekend.
Yes. I will be playing Homeworld 2 as soon as I can manage with rapidly dwindling funds
Even on the lowest settings, the visuals are still very nice (in fact, I'm not even sure I noticed a difference between high and low detail...) and the game plays smoothly on my system (not quite what is recommended processor wise) with lower detail.
And the gameplay and plot look to be at least as good as the original.
