SG1: An Old Friend (Wik Judging)

"Cretins!" Balnibar cries, reloading.

"You could be making yourselves useful trying to dismantle the flinger, or at least delevering the counterweight to its tossing arm, instead of standing around, attacking us!"

He levels his crossbow. "See? This shot could be used to throw its rack and pinion off its track, but nooooo... I have to defend myself, you see?"

He fires at the standing wiry rogue.

I'll help you as soon as I can, Matthew. Right now I think I should defend myself from this brute. I hope you don't mind if I take back my property...
Corran grabs the morning star from Matthew's hand (unless it's obvious that it's stuck fast) and turns to use it against the heavy.

Hissing in alarm as the wall of fire springs up, the Wizard anxiously views the unfolding battle from the windswept stone bridge outside.

Gripping his crossbow, Genithar shadows the young human's movements as Corran ducks the heavy blade, paying close attention to the Cleric's condition.

Face flush from the figurative and literal heat of combat, the elf exclaims, 'Concentrate on the Heavy!' and explodes out of the room, only making a short dash forward to get in front of Lorth.
Skidding to a halt, Genithar smoothly raises, sights along and then fires his crossbow, at almost point blank range, towards the stoutly armored hostile.

ooc; G will go at the top of the round, after R but before C, move 10' west, ranged attack on heavy

Workroom Ruckus: Round 2

The fire, fortunately, begins to dwindle, though smoke fills the area, partially obscuring sight. [Partial cover] It does not deter the flinger, which lobs a second of chain at flask-lobber and a bit of something wet at Corran. Luckily for the later, the bulking form of the heavy provides cover, and the mass lands wetly behind him. The other, however, is not so fortunate, and exhales sharply as he is hit in the gut.

Clutching his side, the bruised man searches for something in the piles of material surrounding him. With a triumphant yell, he pulls out a canvas tarp, and holds it in front of him like a cloth shield. What he plans to do with it is a little unclear.

Moving as gracefully has he can between stacks of tools, wood, and metal, the elf wizard sights the heavy and takes the shot. But the weaving of the man's movement in combat get in way, and the shot goes wide. [Miss due to target in melee]

Harassed by the heavy on the other side, Corran relieves Mathew of his borrowed morningstar. There is a brief... something as the weapon losses a bit of vitality as it is transfered. [Merciful ability lost] The cleric swings it at the tough, but clinging strands of entangling glue cause him to overshoot. [Miss] Next to him, Mathew continue to contort without success, and remains held.

The heavy grips his sword, and with a powerful blow, batters aside Corran's shield to cut his upper arm. The gash is serious. [3hp]

With an overhead swing, Lorth's luck changes and his deals a glancing blow to the thug's head. [Nat 20, no critical, 3hp] Meanwhile, Balnibar jeers at the sheet covered rogue and fires. The bulky canvas hides the man's position, however, and it sticks harmlessly in the material. [Miss due to concealment]

OOC: I am sorry I can not give the exact dates other thana bout a week.

Mellubb: Just let me know when you'll be off when you can, and give general NPC guidance, and we'll be all good. And have a safe trip back.

Peering through the fog with an unsure look upon his narrow face, the Wizard calls out, 'Corran, Balnibar! Flank the warrior! Lorth support them with fists!'

Reloading his crossbow, Genithar carefully aims through the fog, attempting to plug the flinger as he attempts to assert some control over the situation, thinking,This could get messy...er, messiER

reload, fire at flinger

Corran flinches in pain as the sword slices into his arm. He realizes this isn't the time to be a hero, and focuses more on defending himself than on taking down the brute in front of him, but he does take a step to the north, hoping to make it easier for the gnome to attack him.
OOC: 5' step north, then fight defensively, making my AC 18 and my attack roll at -4. Here's hoping the flank works.
