D&D 5E Shoving?

It seems like there is missing text in the Shoving paragraph on page 195-196. It seems like the target of a Shove is able to choose between two options for a contested check...but only one is mentioned.

The current errata doesn't call it out that I can see.


My guess is that the other check would be DEX (Acrobatics), but not sure.

I have two copies of the PHB (first printing and the corrected version), and both state it clearly.

My copy has:

The target must be no more than one size larger than you and must be within your reach. Instead of making an attack roll, you make a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target's Strength (Athletics) or check (the target chooses the ability to use).

I figure there is something missing after "or" ?

Yours is missing "Dexterity (Acrobatics)"

Mine reads:

The target of your shove must be no more than one size larger than you, and it must be within your reach. You make a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target's Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (the target chooses the ability to use). If you win the contest, you either knock the target prone or push it 5 feet away from you.

Strange, I didn't know there was a PHB version with such a bug.
