sneak attack questions

A simple one really. If you have a rogue with 2 weapon fighting does his bonus damage apply to each attack or only one? If he hits with both a shortsword and a dagger while flanking does each hit count as a sneak attack?

Wow. For a 2 weapon fighting rogue that is going to be a huge thing. Very devastating with a few levels of fighter.
Not really.

Not only is a Rog BAB lower, and two weapon fighting carries an Atk penalty, but Rogues tend to have low hp. When they get into melee combat, they tend to go down pretty quickly.

Looks very scary, doesn't actually work that well. Be more afraid of the twinked barbarian with the greatsword.

Well... the few levels of fighter is going to limit the SA damage, or at least slow it down. And a straight Rogue doesn't have the best BAB in the world... so it's a trade off.

Now a gestalt Ranger-Tempest/Rogue has the best of both worlds... ;)

No. Gestalt Ranger-Scout with Swift Hunter as "first class" and rogue/Swashbuckler (Int bonus to both weapons is nice for TWF) with the Daring Outlaw feat.

Then enter Tempest AND Dervish prestigeclasses as soon as possible. Then go sneak attack undead and/or constructs with full attack actions while you enjoy Skirmish damage as well...

It might be difficult though to get Improved Skirmish.

Edit: Might be a good idea to go rogue/ftr/swashbuckler as the second class line... you'll need the feats to get into dervish and tempest sooner.

Just take the Fighter variant from UA.

I don't have a link, but it's been shown that a 2h power attacker consistently does more damage than a rogue in most situations.

This is why most rogues use TWF, or rapid shot, or any other feat that lets you add to the number of attacks. If each attack does +4d6 regardless of the weapon used, getting an extra attack is a Big Deal.

If you have a rogue character, definitely take TWF, and see what you can do about adding a bit attack, claw attack, or other natural attack. Even a puny 1d2 tail sting (or whatever) can do big damage.
