There were a lot of good quotes in the show, but I think the one that takes the cake is right in the beginning - "How sweet! And a bit condecending...." Ah how I love thee Wesley.
Harmony was annoying, and to be perfectly honest whenever I saw Eve I kept thinking it was Harmony. The two are just too similar. Except that Eve was creepy and cheery and cool at the same time, Harmony was just annoying. And Eve was definitely cuter.
I'm very amused at what they used Gunn for - I was SO not expecting that. The throwaway line about the "least potential" seems to be a sentiment echoed by many people about Gunn. I must admit though that the whole scene with Gunn was incredibly cool, even though I did think of him as a bit of a traitor. I think it's the coolest court scene I've ever watched, to be perfectly honest. I think it's gonna work out really well.
I'm STILL worried about Spike being added to the cast. Joss seems to think he's the best thing since sliced bread, and from what few episodes of Buffy I saw he was strong on that show. I'm just very wary of the imbalance he's going to bring to Angel. While I'm sure next week will be a Spike-centric show

, I hope he's not going to start dominating things like he tended to do in Buffy, according to my gf.
I would rather have seen them keep Lilah, who's a strong female lead we already know and care about. We already have Wesley, Gunn, Angel, and Lorne on the male side... we
had Cordy and Fred, and Lilah to a certain extent. Now we have five guys versus one woman (Fred), one recurring character (Harmony), and possibly Eve, if she's a returning character. Makes me wary they can keep the balance straight.
