Star Trek: Enterprise, season 3

I didn't really care much for Season 3 myself. It had more focus to it than the second season, but the whole Xindi storyline never did it for me. The season did start out pretty strong, but I felt the whole resolution was fairly weak. I liked the firth and fourth seasons of Enterprise, and some parts of season 2.

In gaming shorthand: TNG holds no candle at all to Prime Directive's version of Trek for me. :)
Well, I wouldn't know. I didn't pick up PD yet. Played the boardgame version (a la Star Fleet Battles).

I wouldn't sell TNG short. Got some great quotes in that series run.

I'm close to halfway through season 4 and I have to say I'm not enjoying it any more than season 3. It's fine, it's good, it's just not as great as some have built it up to be. So far! :)

Oh, I agree. I watched every one. I just think its not Star Trek. It was less of a sequel and more of a top-down redesign of the entire concept. Equally valid (Like old Galactica vs. new Galactica), just completely different things.

Finished the season this evening. A good season -- I can't say "better" than season 3 but just as good at least. I have to say that I didn't have the problem with the series finale that others have reported.

Neither did I... other than (should this really be a spoiler?)
Trip's death
. It just didn't seem right.

The thing I see with what went on with what most people here are saying "sucked" were interesting concepts pulled off wrong. The TCW was a neat idea, but it should've been done without the extra alien species. It could've happened that the TCW is what spawned the actual history (i.e. alien forces tried to mess up their history, but instead, they're the ones who caused it, like the Greek oracle myths).

If you 're a fan of the new Galactica, the first few seasons of Ent will likely do it for you, but Season 4 may leave a bad taste in your mouth.
I don't follow that line of reasoning at all.

I'd think it was the other way around if anything.

The connection is lost on me.

It didn't bother me at all. What it did do in my mind (that, plus the fact that Trip and T'Pol hadn't really had a relationship for years by this point) was open the way to an Archer/T'Pol relationship, which I've always thought might be a better match. Of course with the series over, it's a moot point. :)
