Star Wars d20 - homebrew rules?

Hurtoc

First Post
Hey I am looking for a set of Star Wars d20 rules that anyone's developed on their own, i.e. a homebrew version versus purchasing the WOTC books, something that presents someones own interpretation of the Star Wars universe. I just had a hunch that someone may have a boiled down set of rules for running Jedi & Sith, droids, and the Star Wars races. If there is a set of rules online, can someone provide a link? Thanks.

Mainly I am looking for something a little more streamlined and straightforward than the WOTC system. The KOTOR games are a move in the right direction of what I am talking about here, though that system is fairly combat focused in terms of most of the Jedi powers.

Anyway, my point isn't to describe what I like/dislike about the WOTC system at length, but rather see what other ideas are out there.

(Edited to make my goal here more clear.)

Hey if this isn't kosher, I apologize, we can kill the thread of course. I'll email a mod.

Mainly, I am not opposed to buying WOTC's rules, but I am looking for a homebrew alternative that comes at the d20 system with its own interpretation of how Star Wars mechanics could work. If any such discussion is off-limits, then again I apologize.

It is definitely treading a line. Although many conversions to other systems (Savage Worlds comes to mind) are out there, and really excellent, looking for a conversion within the same system is iffy at best. I don't know if it is strictly off-limits though.

It's not alternitive rules that's offlimits, it's the emailing of electronic versions of WOTC's rules for free that's offlimits

I think a game set in the SW universe using, e.g., d20 Future or D&D shouldn't be a problem.

Sending - or even asking for - pirated files would be quite unacceptable, of course, so I'm glad that's not being done here.
