Is there a place on the station where Arani can pick up some new clothes for the crew?

I actually get to wear clothes now? Did we get a budget increase or something? This loin cloth isn't that warm and between that and the skimpy vest I might give Leia a run for her money. Or was it just the censors getting nervous about the pg 13 rating? what does everyone think Forest green leggings and a black blouse thigh high leather boots?

"Jedi should not say and think such things. Its against the code. When can I meet this Yoda for myself?" she asks Dorn. "You said you would take me there.""

Dorn frowns slightly at that and gets a thoughtful look on his face as he says, "Yeah, well, some Jedi follow the code to the letter. Others of us think that kind of restrictive behavior can lead to stagnation and ultimately ruin, so we leave things a little bit more open to...interpretation. It's kind of an ongoing debate."

Dorn pauses again, thinking a bit more, and then offers Valara another smile.

"We Jedi are pretty diverse in our beliefs and our methods, Valara. I think you are in for a surprise when we finally make it to Coruscant. Oh, and you'll get your chance to see Master Yoda, just as soon as we can get Deel his ship back. In one piece, hopefully."

Try as she might, the only articles of clothing Arani can find for sale reside in the Station's trite souvenir shop...

Dewback leather jackets emblazoned with the Twin Palm tree emblem of the Station...
Jumpsuits cut in spacehand fashion, with Oasis Station patches stiched to the shoulders...
Shimmersilk tourist shirts printed in garish tropical motifs...
Krayt dragon-scale print trousers...
Pith helmets...
Spacer's caps proclaiming "Where the heck is Oasis Station?"...
Short tunics with a flexible flat vidscreen on the front which diplays a panoramic video-loop of the station spinning away in deep space...
And every other possible affront to high fashion Arani can envison.

...It's just about what she'd expect from a back-water hyperstop catering to spacehands and tourists who are just passing through.

Sen listens to Dorn and Valara debating Jedi morality with a slight smile. He does not interrupt, preferring the listen to Dorn dig himself a good deep pit

Kelko appears from the underneath the Pathfinder, dusting off his hands carefully. Overalls spattered with grease, the Rodian looks pleased with himself at whatever he's just finished doing before coming to stand with the rest of the group.

"Sprucing up? What's wrong with what we're wearin'?" He puts a hand to his snout thoughtfully, "Though if your takin' orders, I call dibs on one of those dewback leather jackets!"

 

[Rorworr]

Sliding out from under a control panel, Rorworr straightens his "Where the heck is Oasis Station?" cap.

"Clothes, never understood the fuss about them. But I might give my fur a good shampoo." The Wookie briefly combs his hair with his claws, before picking up a wielding mask and torch and heading back under the control panel.

ooc: It's as I feared. Arani's Professor Higgins impression will have to wait. But I promise, in six months I'll pass Valara off as a duchess at the embassy ball!

Sia-Lan Wezz hummed to herself, her happy feet doing a little two-step forward, one-step back and a little twirl for emphasis on occasion. One hand tugged on the long thin padawan braid, a vibrant shade of auburn and about as flaming red as a few suns in the vicinity.

Cerulean blue eyes took in everything about the station, constant curiousity and good humor that could rival even Valara...well perhaps Valara would win on the curiousity front. It was good to be out of the jungle anyway, the hot humidity that made her want do away with Jedi modesty (was there even such as thing as that?) and join Valara in her more comfortable get up.

Her other hand juggled a lovely piece of fruit up and down. Expensive on a station, but so worth it. Her mouth watered at just the thought of biting into its delicious flesh.
