Yup, that's it for me. Shame. I thought the show had legs, but, this is just pointless.
Let me go all Cinema Sins for just a second.
1. In the time it takes Sol and Mae to get back to Sol's ship, Qimir has returned to the scene of the fight, picked up Mae, taken her back to his ship, flown to another planet, swam, with Mae in tow, across the water from his ship to his Bat cave, made dinner and then gone for a walk, all without waking Mae up. ((Hey, does that actually count as an actual plot hole? Since we know, as it has been established ON SCREEN, that Mae and Qimir's ship is several hours away from Kelnacka's house - so, exactly how did Qimir get back so fast?))
2. For some bizarre reason the tracker the SPECIFICALLY BROUGHT to track Mae doesn't tell Sol, the guy that BROUGHT him specifically to track Mae, that Mae is on the ship and doing bad things. Because... reasons?
3. The jedi on the planet can tell that the fight was with one person, and that person was erratic, but, cannot tell that it wasn't Sol? And NO ONE STILL CHECKS ON THE DEAD WOOKIEE! No one makes any notice of all the drawings and symbols all over the inside of his home? Just not enough of a clue?
4. What was the whole point of giving the droid back to Mae, just so she could do a factory reset by pushing a single button and then wander around the ship being moody until Sol finally knocks her out? Mae chasing the tracker through the ship had about as much tension as overcooked spaghetti.
And the entire explanation of Coriolis (or whatever the Nth metal helmet is) is that it's handy against lightsabers. And, it apparently helps you access the force... because.. well.. we need the magical Unobtanium to be able to do whatever the plot needs at the time.
Yeah, I'm done. I gave it my best shot. I was actually excited to watch this after seeing others being so keen on the episode. But, nope. This is very much not for me.
