I agree. Ugly, twisted, & clearly up to no good. These do not look like 'joke' monsters; their only punchline is the line where they punch you in the face.

My only (minor) critique would be a desire for more individual variation between them. I like the idea of goblins as being creatures so warped that no two look alike.

They look like Uruk-Hai got hit by a shrink-ray, right down to the weapons.

Hope the rest of the monster art is better, because this is bad.
