Still two years to wait for Indiana Jones 4...

First Post
At least this is a good new: there will be a fourth Indiana Jones movie. Another good thing, is that it will be set in the 1950's, to take into account that Harrisson Ford is 15 years older than when he shot the third movie. Then another thing I am glad of, is that Sean Connery will be featured again (as Dr Jones senior).

Impossible to know what the movie will be about. And the painful thing is we must wait two more years, as this movie has yet to be shot, and is planned for a 2006 release.

Some info about Indy Jones 4

Now what's your guess about this movie: after the Ark and the Grail, what's would be worthy of Indiana Jones' involvement? And who would do good enemies in the 1950 now that nazis are dead?

My first guess: Indiana Jones and Atlantis. Villains: hum well...
My second guess: Indiana Jones and Rosswell against the greys :p

Villains are a good question. Atlantis would be an excellent backdrop for IJ movie, but who does he fight? Monsters, mummies, horror does not fit the mold for IJ. Roswell would disappoint me as it does not seem to fit the character, but it does set up gov't sponsered enemies that would fit the mold very well.

Indy 4

Stalinist USSR might be the enemy of choice. KGB agents and Spetsnaz (sp?) running after some artifact, stolen Nazi treasure in Argentina. You could even have exiled Nazis.

Grim

My call: tie together the beginnings of the cold war, the space race and the Japanese Dogu. It could pull in the Atlantis legend as well, since you could make some links between the Atlantis legend and the Dogu.

OK, Atlantis. And the survivors who ended up in Argentina. WHERE THE NAZIS FLED AFTER THE WAR!!!! HAHA !!

Sean Connery and Harrison Ford it is a win win movie :)

I had thought they would do a here's Indy's kid birth and such all pre-movie. Father-Son team up again, but this time Indy is the dad. Would be much happier to see Connery again instead.

1950's there are still Nazi types running around, and Indy tended to have big adventures but involving the lesser of the commanders anyways. Possibly going after the spear that a nazi informant is giving to Russia. The start of the cold war is a good backdrop that I can see them using, but I don't see Atlantis as a good option based on what all the other indy movies have been about.

Villians, ah, who cares- I want to know what pit of disgusting vermin gets used this time :)

I don't want to see nazis again in an Indiana Jones movie. We saw them twice already, that's enough.

Mmmmh.... I've got a luminous idea. In fact exactly what I will be trying to do with my next Grim Tales campaign: Indiana Jones against Cthulhu of course!!

Nazis, why change a good thing, so to speak. Make 'em neo nazis if you must.

I don't know, the Atlantis thing was done in a game already, though it would definitely work. Of course 1950 is post Roswell...
