Sweet Mother Of Ptolus!

Looks sweet, but it is pretty pricey. I am already shelling out $120 for the book. I bought the cheaper pdf maps from skeleton key. I might get them printed out and lamenated at Kinko's. Should cost less.

A bit pricey...

Not sure I'd have a need for such a large map.

Price works for me. Heh, you remind me of some of the people I had walking through my condo in the city when I decided to sell it. "Too much," "rediculous price," "way too high."

I sold it above my ask.

As they say: "For every price, a buyer."

Boy, do I wish times weren't so tight this time of the year -- I'd be jumping into Ptolus with both feet running... :)

If there's one thing I love, it's when the game designers themselves jump into a new project with fanboy-style zeal. The minds that came up with this stuff for Ptolus are the minds of people who genuinely love the product, and want to see the best they can possibly muster for it.

I originally thought it was pricy, until I re-read this, BIG PTOLUS VINYL MAP. This thing is almost 6 feet wide and 4 feet high. That is much bigger than my vinyl battlemat and I paid over $30 for that one, at a discount... The battlemat only has one color, this seems to be full color.

So price is pretty subjective.

Looking at the other stuff on that page, and hoping someone from FDP reads this... am I correct in assuming that if you have the old CC Digital, you'd only need the Silver edition of CC Digital 2005 to be up to date?

Yes, if you have the original CC Digital, the Silver Edition 2005 brings you up to speed. The contents of both CDs is what you get in CC Digital Gold Edition 2005.
