Cartoon Network Officially Passes On Season Six

Titanstower.com has gotten some bad news from the production staff of Teen Titans: It looks like Cartoon Network is officially passing on a sixth season of Teen Titans. Although this news seems discouraging, we all knew the prospects for another season looked grim.

But that doesn't mean our campaign should end. Actually, it should be accelerated. Chances are, the letters that have been sent so far may not have made an impact... Yet. Keep writing. Keep sending. Shows like Kim Possible and Family Guy have been brought back after their 'official' cancellations.

Don't let this news discourage you from writing. As a matter of fact, it's more important than ever to get those letters in! Titans Fans, Go! Save Season Six!

And this just after announcing there will be a Season One DVD set (in the nice type of case, as well). Hopefully they'll back off and renew a sixth season.

I didn't really like the Teen Titans with their anime-inspired look and touchstones (Giant Sweat Beads an suchlike).

Geez, that's too bad. I never got into Teen Titans, but I liked the few episodes I saw. It would be nice for it to keep going.

On the upshot, if it does stay canceled, maybe Robin and/or Nightwing can make a comeback in the animated DCU on Justice League Unlimited. Assuming neither Dick nor Tim pops up on The Batman instead, anyway...

Meh. Can't say this is sad news. While the series was hilarious, it just not appealing.

I found it a great lead in to Justice League and I have no idea what they'd do with the current line up now. I thought they finally found something good (Zatch Bell) to fit between Teen Titans and Justice League, considering everything else theyv'e attempted to put on in that black has been a failure.

I loved the golden age feel of the show and plots.
