I still find Omega’s voice annoying. I think it’s a combination of the Aussie accent and the fact she sounds too old for her size / age.

I'm wondering how the other clones behaved when they were her age.

It wasn’t just her. Freddie Prinze Jr’s voice sounded too old for little Kanan in the first episode as well.

And we’ve seen and heard clone kids in the Clone Wars cartoon before, including young Boba. I don’t recall them sounding too old, nor the Mando kids that helped Ahsoka or any of the other kids that feature.

Even Cut and Suu’s kids sounded fine.

I'm now all caught up. I enjoyed the callback to Cut and his family and the fact that Rex kept in touch with him. That sort of world-building is nice.

I also appreciate the effort they're going through to explain the whole "chain codes" thing, although I think they still have some work to do to make it make sense in the context from the Mandalorian (e.g. when Boba Fett presents his chain code, it appears to be as much a genealogy as a personal identification code, which suggests to me that it may predate the Empire).

Maybe it's literally a genetic chain, serving as both a unique identifier and a means of cross-checking close relations and prior generations. That would allow it to identify lineages dating back even to before the chain codes were implemented. Might even go some way towards explaining how the tracking fobs work, if they're a specialised lifeform scanner that can lock onto a genetic signature.

So if they set that up properly every spaceport has the means to register your chain code even if you don't register locally.
If they maintain a regular database along with ship registry, bounty hunter marks it would only require them to log on at the nearby spaceport run a check down the list cross reference the bounty list and then simply use the port surveillance to get an idea on the general direction their target went...
Lord they could have set up a remote sensor at that bar in the first episode and Din simply homed in on that as it could give him the precise location of his target!
Given Din's target worked for the Guild Master, I doubt anyone would question that kind of check!

Maybe that Jedi accidentally transferred her consciousness into Omega by accident and she's slowly regaining her original memories?
That would explain her behaviour if she's trying to figure out whats going on and using the Bad Batch to regain lost skills...

I figured we just saw the Jedi body to emphasise the culture shock for the Bad Batch as they're still figuring out what's going on. When they left home the Jedi were in command, and now their corpses are being hauled out on stretchers.
