"I couldn't tell you without a vet's exam - honest. I was just curious, you two look a little wiser than the typical investor who comes here armed, if you catch my meaning, sir."
"Let's just say we are interested investors of a different kind. Whose your cousin, you said he's a cop?" Bishop will state cooling down and trying to approach this from a different direction.
"A detective in the LA force, is all," McWherter explains. "But how did you find out about this particular harse? As far as I know, she's not been registered yet and can't run a race until she is."
"We heard about it through a friend on Nealy. He told us about it. Nealy was suppossed to have a workout with the horse today, but we haven't seen him yet. And it looks to me like this horse isn't in the greatest shape." Bishop will half-lie to the trainer.
"Uhh, a brother on the force. Must be a hell of a guy to be a detective." Bishop will followup.
"I have seen stranger things before. What the hell? Might as well take a look." Bishop says following the horse trainer. "McWherter this better not be a irish joke?"
