ooc: Er, ok. Then the berserk attack goes against Atreus instead, since he's the only other one in range. That attack roll hits him, dropping him to -4. Revenant-hood may be around the corner!

ooc: right, but it knows where Atreus is, and it doesn't necessarily know where Hacker is. Several things will have taken place since Hacker disappeared -- zombie attacks, lights go out, lights come back on, Atreus moves, Atreus attacks... It's not terribly bright; it's probably forgotten about Hacker already.

Kathalia has a healing word, so one option would be for Woe to heal her and then for her to either heal Atreus this round or drop 2nd wind and heal the next round.

Good plan Nerdytenor. Couldn't Hacker slide you closer to Woe? I really hope that golem doesn't attack me next round! Then I am pretty sure that Atreus is finished. I can't help to resemble Atreus to a squash and the golem to the worlds fattest man. That thought fills me with images how easily the squash gets splatted by the fattie, whom I saw in the paper today. He weighs 445kg... thats insane! I wonder if the flesh golem weighs as much...

Do I still need to make a save next round against the daze effect?

Only one attack from Rain of Blows hits, for 7 damage. The vexing cloud stops the first one.
Emergency correction! I forgot that Woe retrained for Action Surge, which would make his Rain of Blows attacks hit 25, 31, and 18, respectively. That means the first attack also hit and thus the golem has taken 10 more damage.[/sblock]
Woe detects cries of pain and anguish behind him, lights going off, lights going back on, and even more screams and suffering. He looks back. Kathalia and Atreus lies broken and bleeding on the ground, unmoving. Hacker is nowhere in sight.

“Bloody hell,” Woe mumbles to himself in disbelief. “It slaughtered all of them, even vaporizing Hacker.”

Finding that his current state of dizziness puts him beyond the reach of aiding downed allies or threatening the golem, Woe settles for further pressuring the goblin in charge of the ambush. He rushes in pursuit and stabs it to the ground, slicing up one of its kidneys.

“Call it off right now!” he roars. “Call it off, you crawling pitiful pile of barfed-up gutter-vomit, and I won’t make you end up like new parts in it!”

I tried to take the lesser evil in a lose-lose situation, guys. :( If I didn’t pressure the goblin, it would’ve been free to blind, daze, and use whatever worse nastiness it could tear into us with – thus also short-circuiting potential escape.
