The Crux of the Matter

(OOC: Oh, right--Tenny's action. Tenny can technically get to the sealed staircase with a single move because she flies at speed 60. Laynie requires a double-move. That allows Tenny to also use a spell if she desires)

Tenebrynn decides to do her best to prevent the other three from killing her and casts Displacement as she and Laynie retreat. She'll keep herself between any enemies and Laynie.

*Tenny makes herself even harder to hit than before and makes a comical attempt to block access to Laynie with her tiny body, more futile because of the ability of everyone to simply float around or over or under. Still, she and Laynie reach the seal.*

"Stop throwing things at her--It isn't worth your time to use attacks on her that she can dodge," Eve instructs, "Use targeted effects and area spells to negate her size advantage and illusory defenses."

(OOC: Ashna's turn)

"You just have to kill Ashna and Tenebrynn for me first, okay?"

"Don't you guys think someone else here has been far worse to 'Love' than Tenny and I? Someone who hasn't been punished yet? We haven't even attacked her."

*The final wraith's eyes narrow on Ashna's Haversack.*

"She has the robe and she isn't wearing it! Ooo! Ooo! Dibs! I call dibs!"

"Well, excuse me for not playing dress-up with unknown stuff after being turned into a woman by a wild surge. But do you honestly believe you'll get to keep anything of value? How often do you get what you really want?"

*She starts to cast a spell:*

"Don't be greedy--that spell might end one of them if it succeeds, but it never actually works," the previous wraith instructs snootily.

*The other wraith shrugs and finishes, targetting Ashna with...Phantasmal Killer!...and...*

[SBLOCK=Ashna's Fate]She makes the Will Save--not dead this time [/SBLOCK]

"I can't help it--it's my nature," the last Wraith shrugs.

Ashna turns to the other wraith.
"They never listen to you, do they? They just ignore your valuable insights, right?"
Ashna follows just after Laynie to cover her movement to the seal (with a retreat action to prevent an Attack of Opportunity from Rinaldo).

(OOC: Nope--it isn't suicidal, just a calculated risk. And I already handled any resaves for this ability, which has slightly different parameters than Suggestion. Also, note that though he might be sorry about it, Vanitri really does want to succeed at killing Tenny and Ashna, not for them to escape Anyway, he wasted last turn, so this will be his next action )

OOC:He wants Laynie to escape though, so forcing Tenny to move her as fast as possable is perfectly acceptable. However, if he can get to Ashna on the way to Tenny... well, he'll just have to take care of business. But he wants Tenny.

"No, that's just Pride. She thinks she's better than everyone."

*Ashna withdraws from Rinaldo and floats over to cover Tenny and Laynie.*

"You're mine Tenny!"

"No sweetie, didn't you just hear Eve? Since you only have direct attacks, they won't work on her--she's displaced. You kill Ashna first darling. Rinaldo, Hogarth--if you have anything that gets around Tenny's magical defenses, you can try that, but if you only have direct attacks like Vanitri, focus on killing off Ashna first."

*Before Vanitri can perform this, since she had previously readied an action before being taken by Eve, the id-nymph that had once been Guile acts, still adjacent to Lust and Vanitri. Since Lust had been offering her to Vanitri, the former aspect moves in front of him curiously and gazes into his eyes adoringly, then attempts to tuck in her head and cuddle up against him in a distracting fashion that is highly inappropriate for a battle like this unless she is completely oblivious--and perhaps she is.*

OOC: Ok, i'm confused by the above statement. Who cuddled up to me and did what? Guile?

(OOC: In the really really long post almost exactly 24 hours ago, Guile got Eve-ified. This battle is really confusing, but it's fun to run!)

Hogarth, seeing Tenebrynn near the seal, decide to neutralize him for teh moment, while the other take care of Ashnar. He cast Silence 10 feet in fornt of the seal, so the 30 feet area in front of the seal will be stuck by the silence spell, preventing Tenebrynn to cast.

Rinaldo will charge Ashnar, but knowing he has become a better aimer in this astral-like environment, he decide to stay on the defensvive for now, going more offensive when he will have a chance to sneak on Ashnar. [Combat Expertise +5/-5, that should partially offset the -2/+2 of the charge and with the +3 STR, he should do an attack with normal bonus.]

OOC: Just an idea like that... after Tennebrynn have cast his dispel on teh seal, he had gone into a timewarp and have gain back all his spell, that include Dispel magic... if Tenny want to try to dispel the effects on Rinaldo, Hogarth and Vanitri... in condition he can somehow cast in the silenced zone.

(ooc: oh hey I was wishing that I could have rememorized spells like you guys, good thing you pointed out that i still had my dispel back now if only for that pesky silence. can i cast my dispel at the seal before the silence descends?

i'm a little lost on tracking my stats with all the changes. do i still have wis 2 or did being a pixie fix that?)
