The Crux of the Matter

(Well, excuse me and my +6 Bluff for not being a rogue. :p And I'll maintain that Ashna did not lie in her talks. She said the truth... from a certain perspective. ;))
(OOC: Yeah, yeah, but in game mechanics really you were trying a Diplomacy attempt to get them to turn on each other ;) I was very nice and not only didn't make it an auto-failure for not spending a full-round action, which is what the RAW says, I even didn't dock you the -10 for accelerated. What I did was roll Bluff to see if you got to make a free Diplomacy check at no penalty (sort of Bluffing them into convincing them to do something without expending as much effort as normal), but it didn't matter ;))

Rinaldo turns his attention toward the aspects "I don,t understand why you follow Eve's order blindlessly like that. What do you think will happen when Sin will awake. Eve will have all the merit of her freedom and she will be greatly rewards. And you? You'll have little merit and rewards, just like grunts should have. It is always the leader who get all."

[SBLOCK=OOC]Rinaldo will try to turn Pride and Greed (and the other aspects, if only he could guess what they are) against Eve. After all, Rinaldo is not lying, it is always the leader who get all the merti and rewards in a clearly hierarchic group... not sure if Bluff or Diplomacy better here, but +14 Bluff and +20 Diplomacy :p [/SBLOCK]

*Vanitri strikes at Eve, who doesn't seem too concerned, as she seems to dismiss the chance that he will actually strike her, particularly with the conservative way he is fighting. And she is....just barely right. At the last moment, when the attack looks like it might be a critical strike, her eyes widen and she realises that she has to move aside, and so she does so, darting to the side with more incredible speed and grace than he has seen from the finest Freefolk dancers.*

(OOC: Yeah, so you rolled a 19, which is +9 (not +10 because of reduced Dex in this place) - 4 for defensively is 24. Thanks to Eve getting much more Dex here, that misses by 1. Shouldn't have fought defensively ;)

Rinaldo still yet to go)

Fuge--Mentioned once by Guile as someone for whom to get revenge. Presumably of some relationship to Guile but turned into a wraith by Eve

OOC: He must be one of the silent wraith... if only his name was more meaningful...

OOC: Yeah, the defensive was just in case she had something nasty prepared, which I wouldn't have doubted. Did the blade react as being something against her?

(OOC: Actually not--Eve has some thirty wraiths to choose from not counting the mindless killer ones that sometimes occur or the id nymphs that won't really fight (any of which could be what became of Fuge), but Rope Trick can't hold all that, and she picked the original Sin wraiths that had special powers, rather than her own weaker wraiths)

(Guile--A somewhat sarcastic-seeming aspect, she proved more selfless than she seemed when she sacrificed herself just a few rounds ago to try to save Laynie, even though she could have just remained in hiding. She is an id nymph as of a few rounds ago.

Termina (Determination)--A stubborn and loyal aspect who hid with Guile and the others. Presumed to be still in the extradimensional pocket. One of Termina, Senex, or Joy is presumed to be the spy Eve mentioned, since it probably can't be Guile.

Joy--A happy-go-lucky aspect who hid with Guile and the others. Presumed to be still in the extradimensional pocket. One of Termina, Senex, or Joy is presumed to be the spy Eve mentioned, since it probably can't be Guile.

Senex--A wise old man aspect who hid with Guile and the others. Presumed to be still in the extradimensional pocket. One of Termina, Senex, or Joy is presumed to be the spy Eve mentioned, since it probably can't be Guile.
(Didn't they mention there were others who just didn't want to speak up at that time?)

OOC: Look at post 1432
(OOC: Yeah, I started typing that before you posted :p By the way, are you sure you don't want to suggest something with that Diplomacy? Even if they agree with that, you don't call for a course of action or appeal to them something better to do. If you make a good case, you'll have a chance--others can make suggestions if they like, to help simulate Rinaldo's massive +20 Diplomacy)
