ooc: btw forgetting pride and calling out sloth were both calculated. leaving pride out = hurt pride. didn't know if it was sloth or wrath, but I figured if it was wrath, she'd get angry at being called sloth and come after Tenebrynn. If it was Sloth then we could convince her not to bother (as she apparently did ~ though I think Sloth is the spy = Senex).

(OOC: I believe yes--I was thinking so as well, though technically Ashnar died once and Ashna died once. You know you could have posted an action for Vanitri while you did either of those OOCs--it is his turnBront said:

(OOC: Oh my! I thought you meant that as a follow-up for the Ashna thing--like who else was close to having died as much as Ashna 
The way you guys are now, Ashna's body and unconscious Greed are next to you, Laynie's on the stairs coming down. Tenebrynn is flying up, Hogarth is heading up too, though not as far up as Tenny (so it goes Laynie, then Hogarth, then Tenny on the stairs). Rinaldo is down near Vanitri, with once-Guile cuddling up with him. Away a bit, but still within a single move, is Wrath. Pride and Gluttony are farther out. Sin is getting dressed in her room, which is all the way on the other side of this landing from all the action right now)

(OOC: Ah, okay then)
*Vanitri moves away from the staircase and towards Wrath and cutting through her defenses to strike a nearly critical blow, and yet she avoids the worst of the strike and takes it in the arm, the piercing strike of the blade's thrust seeming to shimmer around Wrath like the force and the lightning already playing about.*
(OOC: Wrath takes 8 more damage, Rinaldo and Hogarth go now)
