The Crux of the Matter

(OOC: If you tried to use those middle words as a sentence, the first middle word is 'Children Of', the second middle word is 'The Box', the middle middle word is 'Unseal', the penultimate middle word is 'My', and the final middle word is 'Hope', so it would say something like 'Children Of The Box Unseal My Hope')

Provided Laynie can give Tenebrynn a quick tutorial in how to pronounce those words, he'll speak them in front of the door in the hopes that verbally speaking the words might trigger something.

*Nothing happens. However, as Tenebrynn moves his hand over each of the words to speak them, he feels something unusual in the magic over the door's very centre. It isn't like the other weakened areas where something is punching through on the inside. This place seems to be strong enough to hold together but at the same time have a bit of magic unraveled slightly like a loose thread, perhaps intentionally. He wonders what word is written right there, in the very centre.*

(OOC: Trust me, it is much easier than having to find a sentence hidden in the words (although there was a sentence hidden there, but I made sure not to make that a requisite to continue the adventure)

*unseal* he thinks to himself. "Okay I think I know what needs to be done to open the door. Just push or speak or whatever the word at the very center. As we are not yet prepared I'm going to hold off even saying it. Lets prepare properly before heading in." says Tenebrynn.

(OOC: Note--he already said unseal as part of the sentence, so that can't be right. He needs something to tug at and unweave the magic here--it could have been made to unseal when you say unseal, but probably whoever made this door wouldn't want it to be openable by some peasant who can speak the right languages. Still, that thread of magic is intentionally hanging to make it easier to unseal for someone who has the tools...

[SBLOCK=Hint]It's a third level spell of the Abjuration school.

[SBLOCK=Hint 2]It unweaves magic.

[SBLOCK=Hint 3]It begins with D and rhymes with Misspell Magic[/SBLOCK][/SBLOCK][/SBLOCK])

ooc: yeah I know. I had to get a divination, and i like fireball better than dispel. All my other 3rds came from scrolls Rinaldo had and a spellbook recovered from a baddie.

(OOC: Ah. Personally, I would have expected Ashnar to pick that one up for his must-be-Evocation spell and then taken DM and done a spellswap. I love having another Wizard in my group :))
