Raven: [sblock] "I will go there immediately. I just need the name of the vilage, rough directions, and any information you have on the scout. His name, or course, or a description, as well as any motivation you know. Why is he cooperating with Orerreth?"[/sblock]

[sblock=Everyone except Raven]"I knew there'd be a way we'd get paid for this," Niccolo says out loud. Then he goes back to thinking out loud. "That does match what we'd heard, yes. It seems like if you give us information that helps us locate it, it would be only fair to give you the first chance to offer a reward for its recovery." He pauses. "There were two groups, at least, involved in the crystal's recovery -- a group of adventurers and a warforged scout. Do you know anything about either, or anything else involved?"

OOC: At this point I would be more inclined to destroy the crystal rather than let anyone purchase it, but that is probably not the right attitude to take in this negotiation.[/sblock]

Latharion frowns at the intrusion. Seeing the others getting a bit glazed over as they respond, he tries to block the incoming message, and patiently waits untill the silent communication is finished.

When the rest of the party seems to return to 'normal' he asks:

[sblock=Raven]"The village is called Zid. After we knew what happened at the skyway we investigated where was the message from. It came from that village. We asked the people in charge of the office there who sent it, and it turned that it was a warforged scout. We don't know anything else; if you're going there I sugest you to leave immediately"[/sblock]

[sblock=everyone else]"That crystal" says the voice answering to Stulgar's question "contains vital information that may be used in the benefit of Breladn's security in the future, so it musn't be allowed to fall on someone elses' hands, least of all Orerreth. I don't know what he's told you, but it's imperative you don't allow him to get it."

"I'll give you some time to think on it before contacting you again. The looters you're asking for hang around the Cog's Teeth."

With that the communication end abruptly. The Cog's Teeth is a tavern located in one of the seediest part of the city.[/sblock]
