I usually just set the strawman on fire while they're not looking, and sit back to wait for them to reflexively grab it and waive it around before they notice it's burning.
Oh, if Only I could. It's tough when you have to go back over every statement in order to show what you didn't say, before going ahead with what you actually said.

 

So you want help balancing an utterly busted magic item but also refuse to make any of the changes necessary to balance that utterly busted magic item...okay.
 


The two Kickstarter campaigns I am kicking myself for not backing are sending books to backers now, and have been for a few weeks, but are tormenting me by not putting their stuff on sale to the general public yet.
 


Because it unlocks a lot of other features, like networking and, I believe, the ability to curate the images and videos associated with the listing.
If I remember correctly it costs extra to have headshots, etc., in an IMDB listing. At least if I'm remembering what actual actor friends have told me. I don't think the regular "Pro" membership does it.
 

Proof that common sense is anything but and evidence for why some RPG designers feel the need to go into absurdly painstaking detail.
