Yeah, I'm perfectly happy to accept that people have likes and dislikes and don't need to justify them. The person was very strident, though, about how offensive it was for me to say that the foods are similar and have almost the exact same ingredients.

Like I said, probably someone who other people have tried to walk into a corner where they look irrational for clinging to their guns here. Some people get pretty aggressive after a couple experiences that way, and it extends to anything that even smacks of that.

Sometimes even trying to find someone's boundaries can be ... fraught. I don't like basically anything raw, and I've had people try to work out the boundaries, and those conversations have often not gone well.

It is kinda wild to see 2-3 people on your ignore list go at each other for pages on end. I get to see maybe 1-2 posts per page sometimes. It's really odd.
