My policy is to never trust a man with two first names and no last name.

I can understand why they think my first name is my last--there's a very well known example of that. But I don't think I've ever seen anyone use my last name as a first in my life.

My name is misspelled in my country and mispronounced everywhere else - I've resigned to the fact that I'll have to squint at anything that looks or sounds like my name and assume that they're addressing me.
