I like porters and stouts just fine. I also like IPAs and APAs and DIPAs just fine. Also barleywines, wee heavies, dubbels, tripels, quardupels. Not to mention Pilsners and bocks (including but not limited to doppelbocks and maibocks) as well as schwarzbiers, dunkels, and helles lagers; also the rauchbier versions of many of those. And I almost forgot all the wheatbeers--witbiers, hefeweizens, dunkelweizens, weizenbocks (and I guess wheatwine would be here ...)What would be snarky about the flavor of porters and stouts? I’ll take them any day over an overly floral pale ale (whether American or India).
That's basically just about everything but sours, which is about right.
