I understood this before VTTs and covid19 happened, especially before internet, but I dont understand it today. 🤷‍♂️

That's up there with "the D&D I like most is what brought the company to ruin, so WotC should definitely do that".
 





When you know that a thread likely has attracted one of the people you set on ignore, and you get confirmation, is it a sense of validation, or more dismay that they are still allowed to continue with their dubious and/or gross lines of discussion.

More often than not its, "Does this interest me enough to want to deal with collateral unpleasantness those people will produce" comes to mind.
