I voted cows. I grew up on a farm, and let me tell you, you don't want to be a cow. It's milking at 6am and 6pm everyday, and if the human or robot doesn't do it on time, it hurts like hell and you get mastitis. That is, your udder goes purple and hard like a rock. On top of it, you don't have sex - they inseminate you artificially. To make things worse, they take the young ones away at birth and feed them formula, so your precious milk can go down the throat of your masters. You stand in your own poo all the time, and when the milk supply goes below 20,000 pounds per year, a truck comes and takes you to paradise, where they put a bolt in your front head. Cow life over, McDonalds, I'm coming.

I bet people voting off Minotaurs feel *pretty* lousy right about now. All the more reason to join my campaign against humans! (and human-looking changelings/skrulls)

This time I am voting against Devas. No one pronounces it right, they have a very non-4E emphasis on Alignment, and they just seem hard to hang a backstory on.

I'm also beginning my campign to have GNOLLS be the last race standing. Their stat bonuses don't quite fit any published build*, reducing cheese. They give you an excuse to yap and growl, disrupting the convention hall or game store. And for a cross-platform Iconic, you have....Fippy Darkpaw! Who didn't love Fippy?

*EDIT: OK, assassins's stats match up with gnoll bonuses. But assassins aren't exactly "published".

If I ever DM a 4th edition game one of the first changes I'd implement is giving an additional at-will to all players.

Humans would have 4, and others would have 3. What balance impact that would have, I don't know, but I do not see an immediate problem, save the players having more tools to play with.
irony.

Well there are now enough at-wills this may be reasonable... my only fear... would 4 get used? if it doesnt feel as special for humans to have four compared to having 3?

If I discover my players were wanting human but feeling the bonus at will was too small now, I'd likely work with them for another bonus. ~Shrug~ I won't be DMing 4E for awhile though... no DM books.

Half-elves. C'mon, how unoriginal can you be? There are much better ways to do half-half mechanics than making them a separate race. And why only human-elf? Once you open that can, you have half-drow, half-goliath, half-halfling... Spare me. I don't want to think about which races can mate and which can't.
