"What do you think Devlin? I think we have to track down Brigit next.", Ryland says after their conversation with the seaman.

OOC: I'm waiting for Dungannon to ask his questions, but next I'd like to head to the Tower Inn.

ooc: You pretty much covered what I was gonna ask. :)

The only thing Devlin asks after Ryland finishes is when the ship left Monemvassia, and whether or not a copy of the ship's manifest survived the fire.

According to the sailor, the vessel had made several stops, and had taken nearly a month to make a voyage that could have been completed in 10 days under ideal conditions.

As to the manifest, he declared that would be in the captain's quarters in the poop, and that seems to have burned to ashes.

"Heard enough? I think we should try the Tower, Coronet, then the office. Brigit's got some explaining to do. You have any others ideas?", Ryland says to Devlin.

"Let's go back to the office and check on Eppy first then we can check in at the Tower Inn."
"i'm following your lead. If neither one uncovers our client I still think we should see if she checked back into the Coronet", Ryland says as the pair begin walking back to the office.

OOC: Guys, I apologize, I'd like to move this along, but I really don't feel up to it tonight. A lot of stuff is coming together rather quickly in this one, and I just don't have the focus to do it justice. Let's plan for a visit to the office tomorrow, most likely followed by a stroll to the Tower Inn.

Thanks for your indulgence.

OOC:No problem. You've probably noticed that AR has slowed down with the advent of my team being in the World Series. Now that they've won I can get to the next issue. This game has been a lot of fun, although I'm not sure how we are going to resolve who Archer's killer is. ;)

When the pair returned to the office, they found the door locked. After giving Ryland a look, Devlin gave Eppy's special knock, which elicited a "Thank the stars it's you", followed by the sound of the latch opening. Eppy beckoned them in, and they noted with some relief that the late Captain Jacobin was no longer present.

"They came and got him", she explained. "But you better watch your step. Officer Vagan is looking for you, and he didn't seem happy."
