She’s fighting with a brick because they are prisoners and have no weapons.
Slapstick fighting with a non weapon object is a huge RED Flag, just saying.
Couple things:
The character is a sorcerer, not a wizard.
Oh, well there are plenty of at will attack cantrips....wonder if the sorcerer will use them ALL the time? Unless they try the tricky "oh he only knows light, mending, mage hand and shape water. "
And can Earthen Grasp "grab" a Bigby's Hand? That is some wacky homebrew rules there...
Neverwinter and Icewind Dale are confirmed.
Icewind Dale? No Way.....oh, wonder if we will get a tease of a dark skinned elf with two curved swords....
They're prisoners at that point. Using an improvised weapon at that point makes perfect sense. (It's actually how things go in the real world, in fact.)
Yea...like when hit by the brick...and people fly backwards like they were hit by a truck. And REAL person would throw a punch before hitting someone with a brick.
They use their real weapons all over the trailers we've seen to date, whether it's the barbarian's molten axe or the paladin's fancy magic sword.
They hold them sure. And sure they will cgi spam attack the cgi monsters too.
Optimization may not be the enemy of fun, but it is certainly the enemy of a good drama.
-Bill James, probably.
Yea, and add "common sense" and "even a hint of reality". Sure, this is normal for most....bad...movies.
